The Paradise Fire Safe Council is a committee of the Paradise Town Council. Community members are appointed by the Fire Chief who serves as the staff liaison to the PFSC.

Mission:
To educate the community, to increase the awareness of fire risks, to reduce wildland fire fuel, and to prepare for other disasters.

Meeting Date & Time
The PFSC meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 P.M. at Oak Knoll Senior Living, 1007 Buschmann Road in Paradise.

2010 Objectives:

  • Develop a community marketing plan
  • Research and develop funding sources
  • Increase membership
  • Provide input for revised Paradise/Upper Ridge Evacuation Plan
  • Review and advise on community fuel reduction and vegetation disposal
