When you type !incident in the chatroom, Netbot will respond with a private message (also known as a PM) with all the information we have about an incident. To see this PM, look at the top of the chatroom and next to the tab that says "#thenet411.net" you now see another grey tab that says "netbot" in blue lettering. If you click on this tab, you will see the response from netbot about the incident. Once you have read the incident information, you can either close the tab with the little X in a circle in the tab or just click on the tab that says "#thenet411.net" and you will be returned to the main chatroom. Please be aware that as we update the !incident response with new information, it will be necessary for you to type !incident again to see the updated information. Most of the time Netbot will say "There are no major incidents at the moment or I have not been given any info yet. If there is an active incident, please ask a channel mod to update me." which means there are no current incidents. |
