How fast does my connection speed need to be to listen? |

All modern Internet connections should be able to listen without problems. All forms of broadband can listen in and surf at the same time with no noticeable degradation in surfing speed. The only exception may be satellite Internet access which is not suited to realtime applications like live audio and video streams. For Windows dialup users, the Windows Media stream without video and the ShoutCast stream are your best bet. For those using dialup and iTunes, we have had reports of iTunes dropping the connection from time to time or not being able to connect at all. iTunes has hard-coded bandwidth requirements for incoming streams that seem to be making it difficult to listen over dialup connections. There is not much we can say about this issue other than to try other players that are compatible with the stream types we offer.
